You can sit among the guests with a coffee, have breakfast and watch your colleagues give a talk. And that is exactly what I did at our joint event with Grinex. Our “stars” Michal Kapitán and Jirka Mlčák took the floor for endors at the Business Breakfast on “Section 15” funds (anyone who knows me knows that handing over the floor is not my strong suit, especially on “my” topics – but I did the right thing.)

Michal and Jirka jointly presented a real case study – how we set up a fully functioning investment club for one of our clients within two months. Including technical information on Section 15 funds and how they work.

Interest in Section 15 funds is skyrocketing

We see that the world around us is changing its view of investing. People want to invest together – with friends, family, business partners. But they do not want to do it just “off the cuff.” They want to do it officially. Transparently. Properly. And tax-efficiently. The “Section 15” mini-fund under Section 15 of the Investment Companies and Investment Funds Act (ZISIF) makes exactly that possible.

And I believe and hope that everyone took away not only answers but also plenty of food for further thought.
