According to the latest census, more than 50,000 people born in the Czech Republic live in the United Kingdom. Trade between the two countries exceeded £11 billion last year. The UK is the fifth most important market for Czech exporters, and Czech companies exported goods worth £7.8 billion there. Yet until now, there was no Czech lawyer they could meet in person in London.
Anyone in the UK who needed something sorted out in the Czech Republic had two options: a British firm unfamiliar with the Czech system, or a lawyer in Prague they could only deal with by email and phone. The outcome was often the same – the matter was put off, and the problem grew in the meantime.
“Who wants to fly back to the Czech Republic just to sign a few papers or sort out some small matter? We are going to London first and foremost for fellow Czechs who live or run businesses in the UK, but part of whose personal or working life is still in the Czech Republic – and who simply don’t have the time to give it proper attention,” explains Vít Kučera, founding and managing partner of endors.

For Czechs in the UK, the difficulty is rarely the law itself. It is the logistics and the time. Typical matters include:
All of this is hard to handle from London. Our London office removes that barrier. You meet an endors lawyer in person in London and explain what needs to be done in the Czech Republic. Our team in Prague then handles everything on the ground, from the authorities to the signatures.
“We also want to help with everything that comes with the move to the UK itself – setting up a company or a structure to manage your assets, legal support when your family relocates, or renting property in the UK. Together with our British partners, we also advise on buying property and on double taxation,” adds Vít Kučera.
Czech entrepreneurs who have built a business in the UK, or are about to, are a group in their own right. For them, endors advises on:

“Since Brexit, a business trading with the UK has two sets of rules, two sets of authorities and often two lawyers who don’t understand each other. There is nothing we can do about the first two. The third is where we come in,” says Vít Kučera, founding and managing partner of endors.
The London office works the other way round, too. For British companies and investors entering the Czech market or the wider CEE region, endors provides full legal support:
Capital markets are a key part of our work. Endors advises on bond issues, investor entry and dealings with the Czech National Bank, and has repeatedly been named Law Firm of the Year in this field.
In London, endors also acts as a gateway to other professionals. We systematically connect clients with the advisers they need in the UK or the Czech Republic:
“Clients rarely come to us with one isolated issue – they come with a whole situation. In London, that is doubly true. They often ask us for an accountant, a tax adviser, a bank or help with office space as well. And if we have learned anything over the past 10 years, it is not to practise law in isolation,” says Vít Kučera.

The endors office is in a district of creative businesses and smaller professional firms, where we share an office with a local partner. Vít Kučera and selected endors lawyers are in London regularly, on pre-arranged dates, and also set aside days for ad hoc client meetings. Everything agreed in London is handled by our whole team in Prague and Hradec Králové, covering more than 20 practice areas.
“A lawyer should be the guardian of the client’s peace of mind – and, now and then, sow a little unease on the other side. Neither works well from a distance. That is exactly why we are in London,” concludes Vít Kučera.
The endors London office is open from 3 November 2026. You can book a meeting at endors.cz/en/london.
You don’t need a fully formed case to get in touch – a general question or a request for a recommendation is fine. Just email london@endors.cz. Vít Kučera will get back to you personally within 24 business hours.
